The German city of Dessau is the location of your next weekend break. We've heard that the infamous Bauhaus is now offering accommodation, having been re-developed as a kind of boutique youth hostel.

It's surprisingly inexpensive at €40 for a double room, and well worth a stay if only for the sensation of feeling like a Bauhaus student.
