Palabritas beach house, located on the sun-drenched coast of Lima, Peru, has recently been completed by Peruvian firm Metropolis, and makes the most of everything that surrounds it.
Designed to frame the view of the beach and islands in front of the house, it's a pretty open structure - complete with a swimming pool on the veranda. The rounded edges and bright white and red colour scheme evoke the fun essence of 60's Brazilian architecture.
The dining and living room are also designed as an integrated space together with the terrace - achieved with sliding glass doors and an interior patio developed on a lower level where the bedrooms and family room join to create an intimate zone. The main bedroom is located on the first level and was designed so that it has a view towards the ocean too.
From inside the living room, the architecture shows off the reason why you'd want to build a home there the first place: a stunning view.
