Surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery, Borgafjörður College in Borgarnes, Iceland, stands minimal and spare, punctuated by huge windows to let the view in.

It's a project by Kurtogpi architectural office, founded in 2004 by architects Ásmundur Hrafn Sturluson and Steinþór Kári Kárason after working on a number of projects together.

M.E. is rather liking Kurtogpi's portfolio of projects, which you can currently see on their website (incidentally, a site as minimal and unfussy as their architecture) but this one really stood out for us.

We wonder whether the percentage of students getting told off for daydreaming out of the window here is higher than usual...
