This residential project in Santo Tirso, Portugal, designed by Grau Zero architects, occupies the territory of half sculpture, half architecture with its peculiar cantilevered form.
The 'SGLight House' has an interesting lack of windows on the external walls too; internal courtyards were used to provide light and ventilation since an adjacent school posed privacy issues.
Eyecatching, yet intensely private, and a strong design which is also light and airy.
