So, it's about time we addressed that thing going on in Venice right now; the 12th International Architecture Exhibition, aka, 'La Biennale'.

It kicked off on August the 29th and is set to run until November the 21st 2010 at the Giardini and at the Arsenale, as well as various other venues in Venice, showcasing work from some of the most influential and inventive architects in the business.

The event is being directed this year by Kazuyo Sejima of Pritzker prize winning architecture office, SANAA, and as M.E correspondent Tom van Malderen found out; there's plenty to see.
