If you've not seen this yet, then we think you should, so here it is; the completed Aquatics Centre in London by Zaha Hadid.
Built for the 2012 London Olympics, the centre is to be the venue for the swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water polo events during the games next summer.
With the capacity for an astounding 17,500 individuals at a time, the main feature is an aluminum clad steel roof which spans 160 metres in length and 90 metres at its widest point.
Being virtually all concrete and metal (ok, and water) it's got a brutalist aesthetic which we were quite surprised to see, but overall, we're fans and think it's a fittingly dramatic arena for the best of the best to thrash it out.
