Soon to be released at Steidl is the first monograph covering the five decades of Swedish photographer Gunnar Smoliansky’s professional career.
Entitled "One Picture At A Time" it showcases Smoliansky's idiosyncratic style and quiet attention to the details of ordinary life, which has earned him the reputation as one of the leading voices in Swedish photography. The book, which will be available from Steidl from August, accompanies a major retrospective of Smoliansky’s work at the Hasselblad Center in Göteborg.
