GARDEN OF DELIGHTS

Entering it’s fifth consecutive year, The Kinemastik International Film Festival will be taking place on the 1st and 2nd of August and if you're in Malta at the moment, M.E. recommends you go.

To be held at the Herbert Granado Gardens, Floriana, (a last minute change of venue due to unforseen circumstances, but it's just below the old venue...click here for a map) for those of you non-veterans, it's an open air, non-competitive event, featuring a selection of locally produced short films and documentaries, together with the work of several international artists.

The festival is a unique opportunity for local cinephiles and filmmakers to gather, explore, express and enjoy fringe and experimental cinema. Kinemastik Short Film Festival will also be hosting a number of international artists and filmmakers during the various screenings, talks and workshops, so for more information and a list of all the super things they'll be showing, head over to Facebook, or to the Kinemastik blog.

Also, on the 8th of August, Kinemastik will be welcoming Bonnie Prince Billie, who was unable to make a previous gig in Malta organised by Kinemastik and Stagedive earlier in the year. Definitely a must see...
