Born in Italy, but now based in New York City, the portfolio of photographer Alessandro Zuek Simonetti stands as testament to both the urban streets of the early 90's which influenced his youth and a continued deep interest in young niche cultures.

Now also holding a post as professor of Photography at The Institute of Arts in Padova, Italy, his gritty, confrontational work has been published in numerous international magazines such as Rolling Stone, GQ, Warp Magazine Japan, Tema Celeste, Vice and Theme, and he has also collaborated with brands such as Carhartt, Zoo York, 55dsl, Lee and Evisu.

We love the wild array of subjects Alessandro seems unafraid to shoot; from New York fetish parties to Japanese rockabilly nights; stark architecture to drag performance artists.
