Spike Jonze’s short film, 'I’m Here' made its debut at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, but has just been globally released online.
I’m Here is actually a creative collaboration between Jonze and Absolut Vodka - a 30 minute robot love-story which tells the tale of two robots living in contemporary Los Angeles.
The sad-eyed robot librarian Sheldon leads a lonely and methodical life, until he one day meets Francesca, a creative and free-spirited female robot. Charmingly, a romance develops, and the story is just as sweet as it is unpredictable.
Visually beautiful, and (as usual with a Spike Jonze movie), bolstered by an impeccably indie soundtrack featuring original music by Sam Spiegel, The Lost Trees and L.A.based art musician Aska Matsumiya amongst others.
