These astounding pin and thread compositions are by US based artist Katie Lewis, who makes her work from collected information.

Currently tracing the experiences of the body through methodical systems of documentation, investigating chaos, control, accumulation and deterioration, Lewis has devised her own systems to allow the information she collects through daily documentation to exist in a material form.

Following this, she abstracts and quantifies the data in order to: "...give authority and agency to subjective experiences."
