At a distance, a first glance at Keita Sagaki's drawings of classical statues shows nothing out of the ordinary; aside from some really, really gorgeous handiwork.

But a second look reveals they're made up of a myriad of childish, and sometimes rather subversive doodles.

Sagaki has just exhibited a brand new body of work at the Emerging Director’s Art Fair ULTRA004 in Omotesando and these pieces were among them.

We do love a beautifully crafted surprise.
