Take a look at these intriguing new works in porcelain by visual artist Jan Marechal.

Created for Belgian online gallery venture, Moozeum, the pieces are a further exploration of Marechal's chosen artistic theme of the relationship between intimacy and identity.

"Marechal communicates with the observer through familiar forms, often discarded materials; dismantling them and then putting the various parts back together again to form a new world that is overflowing with imagination." Moozeum say.

"This recontextualising renders the forms both strange and familiar. There is tension and relaxation. The powerful porcelain objects claim their place in the observer’s surroundings and give the space its own identity."
