Vegetarians beware: A/W 2009 is the season of skin.

Leather cropped up across the board over the course of the collections in many different guises, (but none more so than in the form of leather pants) and as politically correct as ever, Paris was the epicentre of it all. Hermes, as you'd expect, created almost an entire collection from it, showing cropped jackets we coveted madly, YSL got kinky with a moulded bodysuit, and cheeky New York darling Alexander Wang created black skinnies to die for.

Ricardo Tisci kicked the trend off at Givenchy last season, but now it's clear that the man has started a revolution...
