Foscarini will launch a new lamp by milan-based designer Marc Sadler at this year’s Milan design week. Called ‘Tress’, it's made from interwoven threads soaked in resin and cast in a long cylinder and will come in black or white. Reminiscent of both traditional woven fibres like baskets and high tech materials like carbon fibre, the lamp’s random interwoven patterns create distinctive shadows that are cast outwards.
