The Fitting project, Italy's first modular furniture system, was developed back in 1960 by the hand of Designer Ampelio Piarotto, and for 2009, the firm will be continuing with tradition with a contemporary twist, showcasing 'Pyramid' at this years Salone del Mobile. They'll be constructing a spectacular display at the International Furniture Exhibition - the first time that an aluminium pyramid is being introduced to the public in a world premiere and billed as next step in the modular system designed to interact with any space, from home to office, from libraries to retail stores.

Fitting Pyramid takes up a wall measuring 420 cm high and 730 cm wide but will also be available in other sizes suitable to typical residential and office dimensions, such as the Half Pyramid (730 cm x 229 cm high) and Pyramid_04 (366 cm x 229 cm high).

Fitting will also have other products on show, such as their modular Aluminum system, which has been recently updated with new structural units in heights starting from 47 cm and up, and the company is also introducing Fittingwood, the world’s only modular furniture with a structure in plywood, that retains that same versatility as the modular system due to the unique Fitting junction.

Find them in Milan from 22 to 27 April at Hall 6 Stand D51.
