DAMn° magazine will be at the Milan Salone 09 too, with a variety of events on offer. There'll be an exhibition entitled Prophets & Penitents: Confessions of a Chair, taking place at the Oratorio della Passione of the Basilica Sant’Ambrogio - set to be a celebration of chair prototyping to suit the times. The event features one-off pieces and prototypes for mass-production, with many pieces seen in the public for the first time. Over 30 international designers have contributed works including Arik Levy, Konstantin Grcic, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, BarberOsgerby, Studio Makkink & Bey, 5.5 Designers, Maarten Baas, Jerszy Seymour, Kwangho Lee, and Ineke Hans.

Another highlight will take place on 24th April - a Design forum at the Spazio Rossana Orlandi. With an international line-up, DAMn° has invited designers to take part in a spontaneous take on a design talk, hooked to the words of such luminaries as Albert Einstein, Frank Zappa and Warren Buffet, this edition takes the backdrop of the global economy to ask questions about design responsibilities and priorities, and whether the role of the designer needs reinventing.

And if the latter sounds too heavy, they're also having a right old knees-up at Bar Basso on 22nd April...
