Alright, another poor title pun but it hardly matters in the face of the glamour; the drama; the all-out 70s, the nighttime New York we'resodamnchic attitude of Zac Posen's models who, with cheekbones like razors, sashayed down a carpeted catwalk.
The show might have taken place at 9am, but it was party time at camp Posen where colour and print abounded. Short, long, tight, sequinned, flirty and sexy, there was much here that Diana Ross would have scratched a woman to death for on the dancefloor of Studio 54, but thankfully today's starlets and party girls bitch it out on Twitter.
Print was one of the key elements of the show, and zingy colour too. We loved the overblown basket weave print that appeared on a couple of pieces - the short black dress version was super cute, as well as super ripe for a high-street rip off...
Although there were quite a few 'out there' ensembles, we think that the majority of this collection will easily transfer from runway to realtime without missing a beat.
