Atelier Takagi launched their 'Simple Machines' and 'Spun Table Lamp' at this year's IMM Cologne as part of the d3 Design Talents event.

M.E. loves the simplicity of the Spun lamp, but it's the cleverness of Simple Machines which really impressed us here.

The series is essentially a system of fasteners and components in harmony - clean, deliberate legs and surfaces that are infinitely customisable and hewn from lovely white oak.
