Richard Meier’s Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona in the city’s Raval district opened in 1995 and has been one of the district’s main cultural centres ever since. While skateboarders enjoy the building’s surroundings, inside, the museum houses a quality collection of contemporary work by international and local artists and regularly hosts exhibitions of excellent standard.
