This strip of hippy bars, cafes and craft stores in the old city is a recent addition to the city’s nightlife scene. Many of the courtyard houses, or hutongs, date back 700 years to the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). The Pass By and Here bars rate as some of the most popular and are worth a look.
