Designer Susanna Hertrich has come up with quite possibly the most wasteful gadget we've seen for a while: The Chrono-Shredder. The device is intended to remind us of the passage of both date and time, and there's no on or off button. You just load up the calendar and as the minutes pass, a continuous roll of time is shredded until you end up with a big pile of paper by the New Year.
Now in most countries, this could never really be useful, but in Malta, if you tweaked the calendar start and end date, it could be adapted for a special purpose: Festa confetti. The picture below demonstates quite clearly what we mean...
