Jessie Visser showed a number of his new furniture and lighting pieces at this year's Dutch Design Week, but this particularly caught our eye.
The 'Klemlamp' is creatively functional: A steel hinge jams a fluorescent lightsource, holding it in place by gravity and supplies it with electricity. The lightsource is provided with a reflector inside, for efficient downward lighting and the integrated electronic powerballast guarantees minimum electricity consumption and a uniform, flicker-free operation too.
