We picked up the trend for leather this Winter in our fashion special following the A/W 09 shows, and it shows no sign of abating.

Noir, the chic but tough Danish fashion label have just sent us their lookbook for the upcoming season, and we were thrilled by not only the plethora of cleverly cut and draped leather pieces but also the mix of liquid golden fabrics that serve as a glam counterpoint to balance what could have been an extremely gothic presentation. Take note of the dramatic sweeping shapes for evening too - a touch of caped crusader mixed with Parisian bad girl is a heady mix. Noir are into their 8th collection now, and their particular brand of uptown sophisticate with an edge is well established - and very much appreciated by us.
