Designskolen Kolding presented the collections of both bachelor and master students today and M.E. loved the avant garde approaches taken. Held at the Copenhagen City Hall, this showcase proved without doubt that Danish fashion is alive and kicking with plenty to look forward to as this talent matures.
Experimental shape and texture were dominant here, with wool, and even feathers being manipulated to create wild form. There were a few extremely wearable ensembles, but chiefly, what we loved was the unabashed creativity of the designs...
Amongst the students taking part were: Stine Mørkholt Bohlbro, Katrine Hedegaard, Pernille Horst, Christel Thue Høgsted, Nicholas NybroJensen, Vigdis Johnsen, Emma Jorn, and Mia Kappelgaard Lauridsen.
