All eyes will be firmly trained on the fashion world in the coming weeks; with New York fashion week currently in full swing; Milan, London and Paris lined up and, also sadly due to the untimely death of gifted designer Alexander McQueen on Thursday.
Before we delve into New York though, we thought we'd show you a glimpse of what's been going on in Copenhagen.
Louise Amstrup showed an edgy collection for A/W 2010-11, all shades of charcoal, antracite, navy and black, injected with shots of bright graphic print. There were some beautiful snuggly menswear inspired coats that we adored here at M.E. and a few faintly punk princess party frocks to see you through the party season.
Cinched and tucked tightly at the waist, Amstrup's sillhouette was a strong one where layering provided texture - and as a young designer with only a few collections under her belt thus far, this Danish-born, London based talent is making her mark as one to keep an eye on.
