FORGET ME NOT

There are accessories, and then there are Accessories.

M.E. thinks that these beautiful silk scarves definitely fall into the captials-and-italics category with their blend of delicate line, huge scale and luxury fabrics.

'Forget Me Not' is the latest project from French illustrator Coco, and her line of frame-worthy, super-sized foulards draws inspiration from various sources including modernist collage works, Surrealism, constructivist patterns, esoteric imagery, totemic animals and literary references ranging from children’s tales to fin-de-siècle novels.

High-brow stuff, but then it's also worth noting that after graduating in fine arts from the Paris-VIII university, Coco also worked as a communication consultant for leading French fashion designers and Couture houses; a history which also explains her haute production approach of combining traditional processes such as painting and hand-drawing with cutting-edge digital techniques.

Beautiful website too...
