Pure and simple are the keywords for Spring/Summer 2010 from Jil Sander.
The label has always been a bastion of sparing modernity; and the latest collection continues this ethos of effortless chic.
The campaign, shot by Willy Vanderperre, features Sigrid Agren sporting the label's Navy Brand Extension which stands as the perfect add-on to a casual wardrobe - softening Jil Sander's traditionally sophisticated aesthetic.
Classic trench coats have been re-interpreted with colour-blocked panels and unusual combinations of materials, whilst fabrics like fine cotton poplins, papery nylons, and silk voiles add soft touches to more formal pieces.
Flashes of shocking pink and lime provide the summer zing, but that old familiar fashion standard; the white shirt, gets a new lease of life in variations of crisp poplin shirt dresses.
A little bit boyish, endlessly wearable, and immaculately put together.
We're rather loving this.
