Founder, and creative director of Marni, Consuelo Castiglioni has always made it a tradition to collaborate with artists by incorporating prints derived from their paintings into her ready-to-wear collections.

And for the Marni Autumn Winter 2010-11 collection, Consuelo has collaborated with British artist, Gary Hume.

Hume's candy coloured paintings and penchant for bold blocks of colour in abstract dynamic compositions seem a perfect match for Marni's A/W 2010-11 collection - full of severe line and “uneasy” saturated colour and matte textures.
