It's New York fashion week already, and British duo Preen caught our attention with their clean, modern version of bohemia; inspired by a trip to Egypt.
Referencing arabic architectural detail, the collection was largely a series of fresh separates in a pastel and black palette, with much softer shapes than we're used to seeing from the pair.
Although a print that echoed eastern tile patterns added most of the bohemia, it was also the drape, fit and flare of quite gauzy fabrics which we rather liked.
A new direction for designers Thornton and Bregazzi which looks very promising indeed.
