More new design from Japan today; this time it's jewellery from Nosigner.
Launched at DesignTide 2010 in Tokyo, these delicate pearl adornments are the result of a collaboration with traditional pearl artisans from Izumi who were first to master the production of artificial pearls in Japan.
For the exhibition, pearl makers HK, together with Nosigner, developed "Gravity Pearls' which are magnetic pearls that can be shaped into anything from rings to necklaces; to earrings and brooches.
Clinging together in a thread, or clustering like bubbles, the possibilities of these lustrous tiny marvels are pretty much endless.
