British jewellery designer Imogen Belfield's experimentalist pieces are inspired by a gorgeous mix of the natural, the human-made and the otherworldly; with some showstopping results.
A graduate of the Sir John Cass School of Art, Media & Design at The London Metropolitan University, Imogen’s work has (quite rightly we think) won awards from the British Jewellery Association, The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and South Square Trust alike, and she's also exhibited at the Islington Design Centre, the Structure and Function Gallery in Soho; at Coutts London Jewellery week and London Fashion Week amongst others.
Belfield currently has several hand crafted collections to pick from, featuring precious metals, and inclusions of porcelain and gems that variously evoke bubbling lava, galaxies, and architecture.
We love these rings she's developed by experimenting with porcelain, gemstones, metals, dyes and glaze, creating casts from paper, plastics and even fruit.
At once beautiful and challenging, this is precious stuff indeed.
