Here's a new-ish label for your fashion notebooks, and definitely something for devotees of sleek, no-fuss dressing to investigate further.
According to Sober Studio's website blurb, their philosophy combines "...workmanship, attention to details, and a sincere devotion to high quality, approaching its Dutch origin and the Calvinistic spirit as a source of inspiration for shape, color and mood."
So really, what this all translates into is a series of small, refined collections, made up of things you're going to end up wearing forever.
This is a selection of pieces from their A/W 2011 - 2012 collection, all crafted from wools, silks and cottons; formed with a twist of nostalgia for 'proper' clothes and a nod to the idea of the ultimate inherited wardrobe.
We like.
