That old chestnut of 'reinventing the classics' is done on a regular basis in fashion, but we're rather liking this unusual twist on traditional Fair Isle knitwear from Preen.

The London label's 'Cube intarsia' cashmere cardigan has a little bit of a futuristic leaning to its luxury; and we reckon this geometric beauty could be just the ticket to a more directional (or playful depending on how you style it) winter look this season.

Admittedly, it's pricey as heck, but should definitely be a keeper.
