It may be Design Festival mania in London right now, but fashion week has also just hit the city recently, and we thought archetypal British label Jaeger showed a sterling collection for Spring 2012.

Feminine, gamine and candy coloured, head designer Stuart Stockdale's vision for the season was a faintly 70s tinged one too; with shorts suits, midi length skirts and little retro detailed jackets making an appearance.

We weren't so convinced by some of the stripey looks, but the soft tailoring and cut-out shifts won us over with their modernity.

All in all, this gets a big M.E. thumbs up.
