John Galliano is the latest designer to hop on the sunglasses bandwagon, thanks to a new deal with Italian manufacturer Marcolin. It's not the first time Galliano has dabbled with an eyewear line - although his first attempt in collaboration with Airess fell by the wayside in 2003. However, the flamboyant designer remains optimistic about this fresh start. "Sunglasses and eyewear are essential accessories to make a statement on and off the runway and I am really excited to give them a Galliano twist," said the designer. "I can't wait to begin a new vision on vision."

If his latest runway collections are anything to go by, we're extremely curious to see the collection which debuts next autumn.
