Having a lovely company name isn't enough for the Universal Everything; they also create pretty beautiful animation work.
Universal Everything was founded by creative director Matt Pyke and works with everything from pencils to generative design.
They're positioned at the crossover between design and art, and motivated by the pursuit of the new; creative research and development are central tenets for them, which leads to superbly innovative self-initiated pieces and unique projects for brands, galleries, collectors and consumers.
Interestingly, Universal Everything operate as an ever-growing global network of designers, artists, musicians, producers and programmers rather than go in with a set team to tackle commissions. Instead, from a UK-based studio, they build different teams for a bespoke approach to each project.
Have a look at their new series of reveal films created for the relaunch of AOL for web video, mobile, digital campaigns and outdoor LED displays commissioned by Wolff Olins.
Seemingly based on their Advanced Beauty project - an ongoing exploration of digital artworks born and influenced by sound and inspired by synasthesia, (the rare, sensory experience of seeing sound or tasting colours) M.E. loves this re-interpretation for a previously rather corporate looking brand identity.
Gorgeous stuff.
