Julian Mercier, aka 'Julmeme' is a Swiss graphic designer currently based in Tokyo.

After studying Graphic Design Communication in Geneva, Mercier moved to Japan in 2006 in order to explore his interest in mixing Swiss typography with Japanese Kanji's. 

We like his bold style, which uses bright colour and linear forms to create some seriously eyecatching work.

Amongst the pieces in his portfolio are designs for Louis Vuitton, some great flyers for Tokyo club La Fabrique, as well as a whole array of posters, type, logos and identities to make you look.
