Something a bit arresting for a Tuesday morning...

These works are by young Australian artist James Jirat Patradoon who takes inspiration for his frantic images from hyper-masculine mythologies of of biker gangs, rockstars, pro wrestlers, secret societies, and Facebook.

Citing Raymond Pettibon and Katsuhiro Otomo as his artistic influences, James' work is an irreverent take on the stoic nature of macho pop culture, which has also seen him collaborate with brands like Adidas, Diesel, MTV, and Nylon Magazine.

If your down under, James' newest work is also currently on show at the Boutwell Draper Gallery in Sydney until October the 23rd.
