More news from the world of publishing today, although it's not a book - rather, the stuff books are made of.
The peculiarly named 'Sea Ark Sheep' is a new font designed by Simon Egli and Stian Ward Bugten for Gestalten Fonts which was launched recently online.
One of over 120 contemporary typefaces available on the site, it's name is an anagram derived from the word 'Shakespeare', and as such, it's form borrows from the bold ornamental, typographic, and decorative patterns and prints popular during the mid-16th Century.
According to Gestalten its "...technically unique contextual OpenType features are meant to mimic the oral, not the written, art of speaking."
We think this new resource could be one to watch. Click below to browse fonts designed by a host of super graphic designers.
