We're always looking to share good ideas that cut down on waste, and we reckon this great packaging concept by Dublin based graphic designer Conor Whelan is superbly executed.
“The idea was to create a package of two eggs, ideal for someone living on their own or someone who just wants to make a quick meal and doesn’t require the standard six eggs. I wanted to create an interesting package that was aesthetically pleasing, functional, and simply enjoyable to hold." says Whelan.
Not only does being able to buy eggs in two's save you from chucking a few out if you don't get round to eating them in time, but each little pack also comes with a couple of simple eggy recipes inside.
Essentially, you can have an appealing little box in your fridge, the opportunity to use only what you need food-wise, and then you can recycle the little bit of cardboard once you're done.
Neat.
