Dutch designer Marcel Wanders' eclectic modern interior for Villa Moda Bahrain - a multibrand luxury fashion shore founded by Sheikh Majed - has impressed us here at M.E. and we're not the only ones: The Condé Nast Traveller Innovation and Design Awards 2009 short-listed Marcel Wanders for the interior design of the store in the Retail category too. Wanders looked to the traditional souk for inspiration, creating a melting pot of references and design details. BIlled as an 'international Babel of fashion' this black and white retail labyrinth looks more like fashion heaven to us.
