MODERN LUXURY

Pristine, exclusive and luxurious to the full, this is Jaime Hayon's gem of an interior for Octium in Kuwait.

Octium is an upscale jewelry concept store that showcases exclusive designer pieces from around the globe, and they wisely recruited Hayon to devise a shop floor that would reflect both the luxury nature of the designer pieces they offer, and provide an uber chic, contemporary environment for their discerning customers.

We love the custom designed furniture crafted from glossy lacquered woods which perfectly compliments other earthier tones in the showroom such as natural oak, and sumptuous dusty-hued velvets.

It's certainly luxe, but hardly fusty; there are plenty of quirky signature Hayon details that keep it playful such as the knobbly golden door handles, mismatched table legs and a gorgeous lighting scheme that extends down from the ceiling to become trapped inside the display cases.

Hayon must be getting a taste for the sparkly stuff - he's also just completed an interior for Faberge in Geneva...
