OPPOSITES ATTRACT

They do say opposites attract, and Beijing’s new luxury boutique hotel offering, The Opposite House, certainly looks very appealing.

Taking it's name from the guesthouses that sit opposite the main part of a traditional courtyard style home, it's located in the village at Sanlitun, an upscale development project in the city’s Chaoyang district.

However, in contrast to the tradtional, this is a hotel with all mod cons; there are ninety-eight spacious studios and a lavish two-storey penthouse to choose from, all decked out in uber-cool jet-set interior design to make you swoon.

As you'd expect, facilities are myriad and luxurious. The gourmets among you can unwind at one of six (six!) in-house restaurants and bars, the active are catered for by a state of the art gym, but we'd head for a dip in the spectacular 22-metre stainless steel swimming pool.
