The King of cashmere, Lucien Pellat-Finet has moved into a new space on Rue Saint Honore for Spring 2010.
Situated near the Place Vendome and the Tuileries, the boutique created in conjunction with Buttazzoni & Associates covers 150m²; presenting two floors of Lucien Pellat-Finet's collections for men, women and children, plus jewellery and homewear.
A sleek facade and a bright minimal interior characterise the theme, where the clothing provides the pop of colour against a background of calm and cool white walls. Variations in ceiling height and 'private' rooms provide focal points and there are focal objects too, such as an intriguing dressing room on wheels and a large mirror cube covered in a camouflage print designed by Lucien Pellat-Finet.
M.E. likes this concept, where variable details add levity and humour to a very minimal chic space.
