DEFINITELY CUTE

Swedish design and architecture office Uglycute recently completed this interior for fashion label Cheap Monday; and we must say, it's a pretty imaginative one.

The space in Stockholm functions as a head office and showroom for the brand, and revolves around a palette of grey and yellow; with the odd unnassuming pyramid thrown in.

If you've not heard of Uglycute before, here's a bit of background.

They're also based in Stockholm, Sweden, and the firm was founded in 1999 by Andreas Nobel, interior designer, Fredrik Stenberg, architect, and artists Markus Degerman and Jonas Nobel.

Producing everything from architecture to furniture designs, they also combine this with writing, teaching and organising workshops.

"We are working to expand the concept of design by crossbreeding it with our different professions and trying to analyze its impact on society...." say the office.

And by organising lectures and workshops as well as creating, they seem to be going the extra mile to achieve their aims.

So, the interior. Ugly or cute?

We're saying definitely cute; and we don't just mean the puppy in the photos.
