The interior design arm of Tom Dixon's operations, Design Research Studio, has recently designed this interior for Barbecoa; the latest project for Jamie Oliver Enterprises at the just-opened One New Change building in London.
The restaurant is a collaboration between Oliver and US chef Adam Perry Lang, and includes a 200 seater restaurant, a 40 seater bar and a take-away venue and butcher.
The 700 square metre project is spread across three units over two storeys within the One New Change building.
Design Research Studio's scheme maximises views of St Paul’s cathedral with a furniture layout that allows every customer to see the London landmark, making it sensitive to both the historical surrounds of the area and to the newly emerging context of the One New Change building.
Even without the chef's top notch cooking credentials; with all that warm gold and soft leather, we think this welcoming interior is going to be a hit this winter.
