Forward office have just completed this interior project, Apartment S, in their hometown of Lisbon.

Located downtown, Forward created it to cater for the needs of a young cosmopolitan couple - with spatial options for both retreating from the daily grind and entertaining friends.

Sophisticated and relaxed, it's full of light and clean lines, marked by the reflexes of mirrors that extend the vertical elements subdividing them, and by the lighting shapes that emphasise architectural details.

The neutral colours chosen by Forward contrast with metallic shimmers and light boxes, giving a sense of modernity with references to the buzz of the city and, according to the office, they also "...express a cozy serenity, which is felt while going through social and private areas."

With different uses, the living-room is divided into a dining area, a lounge, a living and home-cinema, whilst the main suite, (which is a true ‘refuge’) includes a TV room, and office, a closet, sleeping area and spa, reflecting the privacy of the area.

Finished with furniture from international designers as well as custom pieces by Forward, everything here quietly works as a whole, with works of art from Portuguese artists providing character and personality.
