According to Esquire magazine, their fantasy bachelor has moved! This archetypal modern man to whom we're supposedly tempted to aspire to has revealed his ideal home. O.K. this is a charity thing, so gloves on, but still, when compared to the Playboy equivalent of nearly 45 years ago we're a little saddened. We ideal men apparently want a home designed by detail obsessed busybodies. Scrap the archetypal Modernist icon that is the Playboy pad and replace it with American faux styling apparently reminiscent of Tuscan architecture styles (maybe in the Disney design studios!). If the host introducing you to the 'dream' isn't worrying enough - all open shirt and unneccessary ornaments - then the fact that the modern bachelor is a tech obsessed 14 year old should alarm you (quiet ladies).

Is this a worrying indicator that the power of Modernism has been superceeded by the power of gadgetry, or should we just not be so offended by a well meaning charity stunt? Feel free to add your comments, but we ain't budging.
