Chunky and reassuring, this Carpenter Stool by Jethro Macey was recently launched at the 100% Design show during London's Design Festival and M.E. really likes its solid construction and bold shape.
Macey is a young designer, who has already racked up an impressive array of accolades, including an Elle Decoration British Design Award and a list of big shot clients that include fashion brand Urban Outfitters and Heathrow Terminal 5.
Aside from his own line of products (available to view on his website) collaborations with Decode London, Worldwide Fred and Musea Brugge are also things he's been busy with. Hailed as a 'Name to Watch' last year by Britain's Telegraph Magazine, he remains so, as we think his eye for quality and innovative form are consistently resulting in some very covetable design indeed...
